My interest in web design began way back in the late nineties when I acquired my first computer and spent far too much time tying up my phone line to browse the internet. I earned a degree in web design in 2002, which led to a career that includes teaching web design and development, starting up and working for design firms, and working in a large corporate environment. Over the last 16 years I’ve designed and built all sorts of websites for a wide variety of industries.
When I began building websites, the average internet user squinted at browsers on boxy beige monitors with tiny glass screens. Today I specialize in building mobile-first responsive web designs optimized for viewing on those magic glass rectangles we can’t seem to stop staring at. I will continue to design and build websites until someone tells me to stop, and I look forward to the day we finally find out what the internet smells like (my guess is bananas).
